Bring on 2018!!

Dive Fest was born to bring awareness to our oceans. It is a celebration of what lies beneath our seas, the beauty that can be found and the lives of marine creatures that should be considered.
Barbados Dive Operators Association have started Dive Fest to help spread the word about our wonderful marine environment and highlight the importance of protecting it. We want to give more people the opportunity to see it, so they will believe it and take their own initiatives!
This year our goal is to offer Water Awareness programs to 200 children and we have requested permission to visit schools and do presentations in classrooms.
July 4-8th, The dive operators will have Scuba and Freediving trials and demonstrations - FREE, we will have beach clean ups and Dives against Debris. We'll have conservation films and lionfish information sessions. We'll have turtle tagging and coral nurseries constructed. Dive Fest will be packed with so many amazing activities and opportunities to see, explore and give back to our oceans - book now, you don't want to miss out!
We'd like for Barbados's Government to also see and understand the need for protecting our oceans. Belize has set an example for Caribbean countries. Let's all follow their lead! Say NO to plastic bags, straws, and containers - we don't need them!
